Argentina honeymoon with a bit of “Safari” – Rincón del Socorro (Esteros del Iberá)
Located in the province of Corrientes, the Esteros is a mix of swamps, bogs, stagnant lakes, lagoons, and courses of water of pluvial origin with a total area of between 15,000 and 20,000 Km². Twice the size of the Florida Everglades, Iberá is the second-largest wetland in South America after Pantanal in Brazil and one of the most important freshwater reservoirs in the continent.
Rincon del Socorro is a rural lodge developed as part of a conservation project. It’s in a restored old cattle ranch and has kept the Spanish colonial rural style architecture while modernizing the interior. While the style is simple, the service is not: there you’ll be treated like royalty and have access to expert nature guides who lead safaris during the day and night, bike rides, horse rides, and nature walks.

Breakfasts are delicious buffets, including homemade patisserie; afternoon teas are amongst the finest and can be served outdoors to linger over views of the stunning setting. Guests can unwind in the lounge by the fireplace, or enjoy themselves in the reading room which features a garden view. They can also hike or go fishing in the lake.

La Comarca Hotel Boutique is located in the beautiful area of Purmamarca in the heart of “Quebrada de Humahuaca” which has been declared a UNESCO site. It is 50 km away from the city of Jujuy and 180 km from Salta.
Its particular style was inspired on the natural landscapes of the area and the regional culture in close harmony with its setting.
