As an enormous country music fan and world traveler, there had been a US hotspot that I had been itching to explore! A place where live music 24 hours a day is the norm and indulging in some of the world’s finest BBQ is a MUST.. Im talking about the home of the famous “Grand Ole Opry”, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the historic Ryman Auditorium. You guessed it, I’m talking about a little place called Nashville!
During my visit to Nashville I stayed at the iconic Four-Star Hutton Hotel which recently completed a massive renovation. This property presents guests with an immersive journey into Music City’s creative culture. Hutton Hotel is a Nashville MUST STAY and offers the same southern-style hospitality that Nashville’s guests have come to expect. Best of all, it’s in a prime location in the city’s lively West End neighborhood only steps from the heart of Music Row.
As I first entered the Hutton Hotel’s lobby I instantly felt a warm and inviting feel, which is exactly what every traveler hopes to feel when stepping into a new hotel. The contrasting elements and colors, the blend of urban and handmade decor create a space that is both captivating and familiar.
The hotel has now added a 5,000 square foot cocktail lounge/entertainment venue, writer’s creative spaces, and a new bar and restaurant offering an inventive take on the traditional Southern cuisine.
Every inch of the Hutton Hotel, from the guest rooms to the innovative bar area and everything in-between is the optimal blend of residential comfort with Nashville’s vibrant style.
This hotel is home to 250 timeless guestrooms and suites all offering true residential comfort. The rooms are not only serene, but also have the most comfortable plush bedding that’ll make it hard to get out of bed. The brand new granite bathrooms include a rainfall shower (my favorite!!) and Triumph & Disaster bath amenities that smell heavenly.
I found one of the most unique features of this hotel to be The Writers’ Rooms, which were created by two well-known singer/songwriters, Ryan Tedder’s and Dierks Bentley’s. These two musical icons designed two true urban escapes that are meant to encourage creativity with every feature, from isolation areas for guitars to closets that double as vocal booths.
For my fellow foodies traveling to Nashville, you will be thrilled with the Hutton Hotels new restaurant and bar, WestEnd Kitchen & Bar. This newly added gem was just launched at Hutton Hotel in December 2017! The restaurant features extensive Southern-style hospitality from the design to the menu, influenced by the culinary team’s southern heritage.
My Nashville stay was nothing shy of perfection. From the new renovations to its prime location I believe the Hutton Hotel to be the #1 Hotel in Nashville and highly recommend all travelers to come check it out!
