Top 5 Disney Musts For Adults
These are a few of my favorite things in Disney World (although it’s super hard not to just say EVERYTHING!)
Disney World is one of the most special places in the world! Every child has once dreamed about going to this magical location. It doesn’t if you are an adult now, as Disney World will awaken your inner child and give you the experience of a lifetime! I am a massive Disney World fan and following my last visit I would love to share all my favorite activities with you!
Going to Disney World can be overwhelming, since there is so much to do! However, I have shortlisted some things that you must definitely cover to get the real Disney experience. Keep these things in if you are planning a trip any time soon.
I went to Disney World in October. It was a great time to visit as the weather was nice and the place wasn’t too crowded. September to October is “off-season” for Disney World which means it is not filled with tourists. You can have a peaceful trip without waiting in lines for ages and avoiding big crowds of people.
Starting off, one of my absolute favorite places at Disney World is Epcot (the park that should really just be for adults lol), a theme park that caters to older kids and adults. So in case you have older kids or teenagers, or are going to visit as an adult, Epcot is a must-visit. And here starts my..
Top 5 Disney MUSTS For Adults
5)The Soarin Ride
The BEST ride at Epcot (actually probably in all of Disney World)! This ride is amazing and it is basically a world tour simulator where you glide across many different marvels of the world. It is a fully immersive experience and comes with great music as well!
Another fan favorite at Epcot is the food! The park has many different restaurants that offer diverse cuisines such as French, Italian and American. What I loved was that since Epcot was less crowded, I did not have to rush during meals and could enjoy them.
4) Dinner & Tequila in Mexico
No joke, the line for the Tequila bar in Mexico is sometimes longer than the line for The Frozen Ride. People flock to Mexico at Epcot and its no wonder why.. the tequila is the best, the margaritas, the guacamole.. the entire ambiance makes you feel like you are in the actual country! Mexico is also the last country on your way out of Epcot so I find it to be the perfect option for dinner and drinks before the fireworks show!
Of course on your way to Mexico you MUST stop by Italy and get some fine Italian Prosecco.
The Nightime entertainment at Epcot is also amazing. I’m not lying when I say that their firework show moved me to tears.. and for that reason I give you #3..
3) Harmonious, Epcot’s Firework Show
I enjoyed the water fountain show that was accompanied by lasers, music, and amazing visuals! This is one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for Disney Parks. The show is a beautifully crafted medley of classic Disney music and visuals reinterpreted by a culturally diverse group of 240 artists from all around the world.
Magic Kingdom Park is the most popular park Disney World has to offer! And this popularity is well earned as I enjoyed every minute of my trip to the Magic Kingdom!
You could even need 2 full days to enjoy everything Magic Kingdom has to offer. One of my first stops at the Magic Kingdom was the iconic Cinderella’s Castle. The Cinderella Castle is so iconic that I am sure everyone has seen at least a picture of it.
And it is as amazing as it looks in pictures! It is a sight to behold during the day, but it looks even more special at night. Especially during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This event was so far beyond my expectations, I couldn’t believe how FUN it was and such a cool party vibe throughout.
2) Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Besides the Castle, almost every ride at the Magic Kingdom was a treat! You can literally Trick-or-Treat Throughout the Park. Imagine collecting candy in Tomorrowland and then grabbing all types of Halloween sweets and snacks from land to land. So awesome! You can also come to this event in costume! My absolute favorite part of this event.. there was a DJ at the magic kingdom!!
Side not, the food at Magic Park is also excellent! I would especially recommend the Plaza Restaurant on Main Street. I still think about the amazing meal I had over there (and they also have Champagne!)
1) Dining in Disney Springs, specifically at The Boat House (request to sit in the boat!)
I’m obsessed with this Florida-Style Surf and Turf restaurant in Disney Springs! Here you can enjoy the best of land and sea—from fresh fish and a raw bar to premium steaks, chops, pasta and more. The BOATHOUSE also offers a more casual outdoor menu of sandwiches, burgers and lobster rolls.
Final Thoughts
Disney World was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that brought me so much joy! From the rides to the live shows to the food, everything was exciting and fun. There was always something happening and I was not bored for a second.
If you are considering planning a trip, this is your sign to go ahead with it as I could not recommend it more. If you visit all my favorite attractions, you are sure to have a good time. But I would also recommend exploring on your own and trying rides and live shows that speak to you, this way you are bound to discover some lesser-known gems. Good luck and I hope your trip to Disney World is as fantastic as mine!
